Overview
YuDo is a personal task and reminder app built for iOS. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and how it is stored.
Data We Collect and Store
YuDo stores all of your task data locally on your device. This includes:
- Tasks, titles, notes, due dates, priorities, and categories
- Subtasks and checklists
- Tags and labels
- Recurrence rules and completion history
- App preferences (theme, accent color, appearance mode)
None of this data is transmitted to any server, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.
Google Calendar Integration (Optional)
If you choose to connect your Google account, YuDo uses the Google Calendar API to create, update, and delete calendar events that correspond to your tasks. This feature is entirely optional.
- Authentication is handled by Google Sign-In — YuDo never sees or stores your Google password.
- YuDo only accesses the Google Calendar scope needed to manage task-related events.
- Your Google account credentials are managed by iOS via the GoogleSignIn SDK and are not stored by YuDo.
- You can disconnect your Google account at any time from the app's Settings screen.
Location Data (Optional)
YuDo supports optional location-based reminders. If you enable this feature for a task, the app may request access to your device location. Location data is:
- Stored locally on your device only
- Never transmitted off-device
- Used solely to trigger the local notification you configured
You can revoke location permission at any time in iOS Settings > Privacy > Location Services > YuDo.
Notifications
YuDo may send you local push notifications for task due dates and reminders. These notifications are generated entirely on your device — no notification data is sent to any server. You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.
Analytics and Tracking
YuDo does not include any analytics SDKs, crash reporting services, advertising networks, or third-party trackers. No usage data is collected.
Data Deletion
All your data is stored locally on your device. You can delete all app data at any time by:
- Using Settings > Reset > Factory Reset inside YuDo, or
- Uninstalling the YuDo app from your device — this removes all associated data permanently.
Children's Privacy
YuDo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
If this privacy policy changes materially, the updated version will be posted at this URL and the "Last Updated" date above will be revised.
